New Lyme Institute Diploma


  The Grand Valley History Room recently acquired William Nelson Gamlin’s Bachelor of Science diploma from the New Lyme Institute which was a prominent higher learning facility in New Lyme, OH during the late 1800s and early 1900s. The New Lyme Institute taught many subjects such as science, business, English, and agriculture. We thank the Cloyce Griffin family for donating this  piece to our collection.
