Place Holds:  If a book or movie that you want is not on the shelves, it can be located for you through the statewide on-line computer service.  You can place a hold yourself or a library staff person can help you.  The items usually come in within a week or so.

Overdrive:  Is the name of the on-line free service where you can download e-books to your tablet or other device.  Staff can answer any questions you have about this service.

DVD’s/Blu-Ray and Books on CD’s can be taken out for one week.  There is a 16 item maximum.

CD’s can be taken out for two weeks.

Meeting Room: Small room with space for 4 or 5 people can be used during normal library hours with arrangements made ahead of time with the Director.

Story Hour and other student programs change with the seasons.  Check GVPL Face-Book page or website to stay up-to-date on these programs.

Homebound Book Delivery – Check with the circulation desk to make arrangements for services.

Internet & Wireless Access: There are 10 public computer stations available to all fine free library card holders over 18 years of age.  Students under 18 must have parental/guardian permission on file.  Sign-in is required.  There is a one hour limit per use per day.  All users are bound by the GVPL Internet Use Policy.
