Story hours and other student programs change with the seasons. Check GVPL Face Book page, the GVPL newsletter, or our web page calendar to stay up-to-date on these programs.
Teens and tweens (5th grade and up) meet one day a week after school at the library for fun and camaraderie. Occasionally, we have special programs announced on our Facebook page, website, or the YA message board. Teen after school programs are listed in our newsletter.
Adult services offers a wide variety of help to our patrons including: one-on-one computer assistance, resume writing, job searching, e-book downloading, archival support, reader’s advisory, & programming designed with your interests in mind. If you are looking for a particular program or have an idea for one, please let the staff know.
Outreach delivery service is available free of charge to anyone residing in the Grand Valley School District who is unable to come to the library due to illness, disability, or lack of transportation.
Call Dan Tanner using the direct line 440-536-9157 at the Grand Valley Public Library. Leave a brief message, including your name and phone number, and he will get back to you in a timely manner. Delivery days are Monday-Thursday from 1:00-4:30 p.m.
Our circulation department will help with all of your entertainment needs such as books, movies, audio books and CDs. Staff will locate your items in our library or request any materials from over 200 other libraries in our consortium. In addition, they are happy to assist with printing, faxing or laminating needs.
